Risk Assessment
Legislation
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1992 require you to:
-
carryout a risk assessment of your workplace;
-
identify the significant findings of the risk assessment and the details of anyone who might be especially at risk in case of fire;
-
provide and maintain such fire precautions as are necessary to safeguard those who use the workplace; and
-
provide information, instruction and training to your employees about the fire precautions in your workplace.
Methodology
The fire safety risk assessment approach Workplace Fire & Safety take is to utilise the Home Office Employer's Guide, which is available to all employers or responsible persons to enable you to complete a fire safety risk assessment yourselves.
We recognise your need for a simple easy to follow 'action plan' based assessment, which we will provide for you in our documentation.
Our services to you last for a whole year from the date of the inspection. Please feel free to contact Workplace Fire & Safety at any time to discuss any aspect of your fire safety needs within that period at no additional cost.
