Background

The course is aimed at Security Guard Management, Security Guards, Supervisors and personnel working in Post Rooms.

Brief outline of course:

To understand and describe the duties and responsibilities of a security officer when dealing with Fire and Security Threats.

• Applying control measures

• Combustion

• Fire Safety and Evacuation

• Fire Prevention

• Practical use of Fire Extinguishers

• Telephone Threats - Suspicious packages

• Arson

• Effective Security Measures

• Classroom/Table top Exercise

All candidates will receive a certificate of attendance on completion of the course along with a handout for future reference.
